A Note on How Text Search Works

If you place your search term inside quotation marks, the system performs an exact match. Within the exact match, you may use two wildcard characters:

  • * — matches any number of characters
Example: "τετ*" → may match τῶν τεταγμένων, τεταρτημόριον, τετευγμένος, etc.
  • ? — matches exactly one character
Example: "τετ?γ" → may match τετἀγ, τετἰγ, τετὲγ, etc.

Without quotation marks, the system looks for the search term anywhere within the text.
